Kirsten Dunst's character, Verena, is the very smart, very sneaky, ultra-popular
leader of the Daughters of the American Ravioli; a secret club formed to
make dreams come true. At first Verena uses her brilliance to help her friends
set up taboo meetings with their boyfriends, but when she finds out those
very same boys might move into her school, she uses all her talents to make
sure they stay as far away from the girls' classrooms as possible.
Kirsten
Dunst began appearing in commercials at the age of three! Like Gaby Hoffman,
Kirsten appeared in her first feature film, NEW YORK STORIES, at the age
of five.
You probably recognize Kirsten from more recent television and
film roles. Kirsten won numerous acting awards for her portrayals as "Amy"
in the film adaptation of LITTLE WOMEN, and as the vampire child "Claudia"
in INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE. Most recently Kirsten played a super-sleuth
in DICK with Michelle Williams and a beautiful beauty pageant winner in
DROP DEAD GORGEOUS with Denise Richards.
Kirsten's latest film, THE VIRGIN SUICIDES, just premiered at the Sundance
Film Festival. Other soon-to-be-released Kirsten Dunst movies are CHEER
FEVER and DEEPLY with Lynn Redgrave (who co-starred as "Miss McVane" in
ALL I WANNA DO).
On TV, Kirsten has been
on ER, THE OUTER LIMITS, TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION
and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. She also starred in the Lifetime television movie
PREGNANT AT 15 and the mini-series RUBY RIDGE.
